Sweet Pack Price Calculator: Per 100g & Per Item

A jar, a retail bag and a full case can contain very different quantities. Compare the current HRS purchase price on one shared basis: price per 100g for checked net weights, or price per wrapped item for counted formats.

Choose two current packs

Switch the comparison basis, then choose Pack A and Pack B. Only in-stock, checked formats with a known purchase quantity are included. Prices come from the current catalogue rather than a printed price mark on a photograph.

Unit prices are rounded for display. Product prices exclude delivery. Different recipes and formats may have different value for you, even when compared on the same basis.

A wrapped item can be a chew bar, lolly, sealed roll or mini bag. A roll or mini bag contains several sweets. No count is inferred from a weight-only bag.

Divide by the total net sweet weight

Price per 100g is the full purchase price divided by the total grams of sweets, multiplied by 100. For a case, add up the contents of every retail bag. Twelve 110g bags contain 1,320g of sweets; they do not contain just 110g in total.

12 × 110g retail bags1,320gThe case contains twelve bags. Use the total case price and total case contents.

For a simple worked example, a hypothetical £10 bag containing 1,000g costs £1 per 100g. The calculator above uses the actual listed purchase prices for its selected products.

Divide by a declared count, never a guessed count

For a counted pack, divide its price by the number of declared items. A £9 hypothetical case of 60 bars works out at 15p per bar. The type of item matters: a wrapped bar, a sealed roll and a mini bag are different formats.

A 24-roll Fizzers case counts sealed rolls, not individual sweet tablets. A 100-mini-bag case counts sealed mini bags, not gummy shapes. Weight-only bags and approximate counts are excluded from the per-item comparison.

Unit price is one part of the choice

Use the comparison to understand quantity, then choose the flavour, texture, ingredients and pack format you want. A lower price per 100g does not establish that a different sweet is a better choice for your requirements.

Check the full amount you must buy, how much you can use and the delivery charge shown at checkout. Buying a larger quantity only helps if you want those contents. The calculator shows product prices and does not assume a delivery discount or free delivery.

Pack price questions

Does one unit always mean one sweet?

No. It may mean a jar, a bulk bag, a roll or a retail pack. Read the supplied contents and comparison basis, rather than using the word unit on its own.

Why are some products missing from the calculator?

Only checked, in-stock full purchase formats with reviewed quantities are included. A missing net weight, approximate count, unavailable item or changed format is excluded.

Does the displayed unit price include delivery?

No. It uses the current listed product price. Delivery and the final checkout total depend on your order.
