Product pages show verified ingredient and allergen information when it is available, and a clear warning when it is not. If the information needed for a safe decision is missing, do not complete the order.
Check the physical packaging
Recipes and packaging can change. Always read the current manufacturer's label before eating, even when you have checked the information online.
Custom boxes
Preferences and avoids entered in the builder are packing instructions. They are not suitable for managing an allergy and do not certify that a box is free from an allergen.
How avoids work
An avoid such as "no nuts" is passed to the order as a packing note. It is not an allergen filter, a cross-contamination check or a guarantee of an allergen-free box.
Cross-contamination — read this bit
Products come from different manufacturers and their precautionary allergen statements vary. Do not assume that HRS storage or packing is free from a particular allergen. If traces could cause harm, rely on the current product label and do not use a builder preference or avoid note as an allergen control.
Missing information means stop
If the ingredient, allergen or cross-contamination information needed for a safe decision is not shown and verified, do not complete the order for someone with an allergy. A preference note cannot replace mandatory food information.
Product recipes and packaging can change. The current manufacturer packaging is the final reference before eating.
