Which HRS Sweets Are Vegan: A Product Buying Guide
The useful question is whether the exact product and recipe you are ordering has a vegan declaration. In the reviewed HRS selection, named Kingsway bulk bags and Stockley’s Flyers listings carry that statement. We keep those claims product-specific and show the current eligible listings below.
Which current listings carry a vegan declaration?
The following current listings carry an explicit vegan statement and pass our ingredient and allergen checks. Availability and recipes can change; open the exact product for its current declaration.
Reviewed 19 October 2026. This table follows the current eligible product selection, so a listing is removed if the required statement or food information no longer passes the checks. It is not a claim that every sweet from these brands is vegan.
A statement on the exact product, backed by its ingredients
We start with an explicit vegan statement on the named listing, then check the available ingredient and allergen declaration. We do not infer a vegan claim from a green pack, a fruit flavour or the absence of the word gelatine in an incomplete description.
Our current collection rejects recipes listing gelatine, milk, honey, beeswax, carmine or shellac, even if a vegan word is also present. A missing declaration stays out of the selected range. That is a curation check, not independent vegan certification.
Kingsway Giant Strawberries and Kingsway Assorted Fizzy Mix are separate named products with their own declarations. Likewise, a vegan statement on a Flyers product does not establish the suitability of all liquorice, all Stockley’s sweets or every pack with a similar name.
Vegan does not mean allergen-free
The reviewed Giant Strawberries recipe lists wheat starch. The named Flyers listings contain wheat. Someone avoiding gluten or wheat therefore needs to read the allergen declaration as well as the vegan statement.
A precautionary “may contain” statement and an intentional ingredient are different pieces of food information. Neither should be silently removed from a product description. If an allergy-related detail you need is missing, contact HRS before ordering and check the current physical label before serving.

Recipes can vary by flavour, market and batch. A manufacturer’s general vegan range page can be useful background, but the exact product you receive still matters. Do not apply one pack’s statement to an entire brand.
For example, the Refreshers guide records where catalogue ingredient information and manufacturer wording need care. We do not use a broad brand claim to override an unresolved recipe difference. The vegan collection stays limited to the products that pass its current checks.
When dividing a bulk bag or sharing a multipack, keep the original label and the product identity available. Combining a vegan selection with other sweets changes what you can say about the resulting mix.
