Squashies flavours explained: Original, Strawberry & Cream and BubblegumFind your favourite.
What flavour are Original Squashies, and are they the same as Strawberry & Cream? This visual guide puts three named HRS flavours side by side, explains the names and shows how they fit into the wider Swizzels range.
Images identify the selected retail product. The quantity selector controls the number of bags; the pictures are not a taste test or a guarantee of individual sweet counts.
What flavour are Original Squashies?
Swizzels calls Original “Milk & Raspberry” in its official shop. “Original” is therefore a specific named flavour, rather than a label for every Squashies bag. If you are looking for that pairing, match Original on the listing rather than choosing a different berry name.
Swizzels describes Squashies as soft foam sweets. This guide compares flavours within that format. The separate Drumstick lollies and Squashies guide explains how the sweet formats differ.
Original versus Strawberry & Cream Squashies
Original and Strawberry & Cream appear as separate entries in both the manufacturer’s range and the HRS selection. Strawberry & Cream is not presented as a replacement name for Original. The photo cards help you recognise the listing, while the written name remains the useful comparison point.
The flavour names alone do not tell you how much real fruit or dairy an individual recipe contains. Nor do they establish an allergen declaration. Read the ingredients and allergen information for the exact pack, rather than interpreting “milk” or “cream” as a complete ingredient list.
What other Squashies flavours does Swizzels list?
Alongside Original, Strawberry & Cream and Bubblegum, the main Swizzels range page checked in October 2026 lists Sour Cherry & Apple, Rhubarb & Custard, Cherry Cola, Love Hearts, Tropical and Shooting Stars. That is a map of the maker’s named range, not a list of every product HRS has in stock.
The three HRS examples here are deliberately a smaller comparison. For availability and the full set of HRS bag and case offers, use the Squashies shopping collection. Other manufacturer names or seasonal formats should not be treated as available HRS stock unless a current product listing confirms them.
Compare the flavour before the bag quantity
All three selected HRS examples are 120g bags with separate quantity options. Choosing three bags on the Original card means three Original bags, not one bag of each pictured flavour. To compare different flavours at home, choose each flavour’s listing separately.
One 120g bag of each of the three flavours would total three bags and 360g. Two bags of each would total six bags and 720g. These are order-planning calculations, not a serving recommendation or a count of individual sweets.
The maker’s own shop also lists these flavours in 140g bags. A 120g HRS bag and a 140g manufacturer-shop bag are different pack sizes: do not copy their weights, prices or case totals between listings.
Swizzels names Original as Milk & Raspberry in its own shop. Use the Original listing when that is the flavour pairing you want.
Are Original and Strawberry & Cream Squashies the same?
They are separately named flavours in the manufacturer’s range. Strawberry & Cream should not be treated as another name for Original Milk & Raspberry.
Are Bubblegum Squashies chewing gum?
No. They belong to the Squashies soft-foam sweet range; Bubblegum describes the flavour. Check that the product name says Squashies when following a recommendation.
How many Squashies flavours are there?
The main Swizzels range page checked in October 2026 lists nine names. The wider manufacturer site also contains other formats and seasonal entries, so nine is not a permanent count of every Squashies product. This article compares three HRS flavours.
Does selecting three packs give me three different flavours?
No. The quantity belongs to the named flavour on that product card. Choose separate listings if you want Original, Strawberry & Cream and Bubblegum in the same order.
Why do some Squashies listings say 120g and others 140g?
They are different listed bag sizes. The HRS examples in this comparison say 120g; the maker’s current shop offers those flavour names in 140g bags. Always use the weight and quantity on the exact offer you are ordering.
