UNDERSTAND YOUR CRISP PACKS
Crisp cases and multipacks: plan your sealed-bag quantity
Choose the number of sealed crisp bags you want, then compare the whole packs needed to supply them. This guide separates individual bags, retail multipacks and cases so an outer pack count is never mistaken for the number of bags inside. The planner counts bags, not people or servings.

Choose a bag-count target to compare three alternative pack formats. Each result is a separate shopping plan; you do not need to buy all three.
Enter 1–10,000 sealed bags. This is a quantity target, not a guest count or serving recommendation.

The examples have different bag weights. Matching a bag count does not make their total weight, flavours or value equivalent. Photos identify the product; a pictured bag or retail multipack is not the quantity supplied by a case. Calculations do not reserve stock or include a price comparison. Read the three levels: bag, retail multipack and case
An individual bag is the sealed packet you count towards your requirement. A retail multipack groups several bags inside one outer pack. A case can contain individual bags or retail multipacks, so the word “case” alone does not tell you the bag total.
The Ready Salted retail offer here is one six-pack containing six 25g bags: 150g in total. The Ready Salted singles case contains 32 bags of 32.5g: 1,040g in total. The Variety case contains 18 six-packs; each six-pack has six 25g bags. That is 18 × 6 = 108 sealed bags and 2,700g across the case.
Worked requirement: order enough whole packs for 70 sealed bags
Seventy is an example requirement you have chosen, not a recommendation for 70 guests. Compare each option independently: twelve retail six-packs supply 72 bags, leaving two above the requirement. Their combined net contents are 1,800g.
For the 32-bag case, two cases supply only 64 bags. Three cases supply 96 bags, leaving 26 above the requirement and totalling 3,120g. One Variety case supplies 108 bags, leaving 38 above the requirement and totalling 2,700g.
These are alternative purchases, not three orders to add together. The planner rounds each format up to a whole purchase quantity. It does not select a cheapest option, reserve stock, add an order to your basket or recommend an amount to eat.
Compare the supplied bag count and bag size separately
A larger number of bags does not always mean a greater total weight. In the 70-bag example, 96 bags at 32.5g total 3,120g, whereas 108 bags at 25g total 2,700g. Choose whether your constraint is sealed-bag count, individual bag size or both.
Surplus means supplied bags minus your chosen requirement. It is the result of buying whole packs, not an automatic contingency allowance. If you want a separate reserve, include it deliberately in your requirement and record that choice.
Keep flavour allocation separate from the total bag requirement
The two Ready Salted examples contain one named flavour. The listed Variety six-pack contains two Ready Salted, two Cheese & Onion and two Salt & Vinegar bags. Across 18 six-packs that is 36 bags of each flavour.
A total of 108 bags therefore does not mean 108 bags of any one flavour. If a particular flavour has its own required quantity, plan that allocation separately. The bag-count result does not establish dietary suitability; use the exact pack information for every included flavour.
Turn the result into a clear order and stock note
Record the exact product, how many retail multipacks or cases you intend to buy, the inner bag total and the surplus. Keep the distinction when handing stock over: “one Variety case” and “one six-pack” are different quantities.
The product photographs identify the listings; a photograph of one bag or one multipack does not show the entire case contents. Check current prices, product details and availability on the product cards and exact product pages before ordering. This planner calculates bag quantities and net contents, not the cost of an order.
Your questions.Useful answers.
Ingredients and allergen informationHow many bags of crisps are in a case?
It depends on the exact case. The Ready Salted singles example contains 32 bags. The Variety example contains 18 six-packs, giving 108 bags. Read both the outer count and the inner pack contents.
Does a Walkers six-pack mean six bags or six multipacks?
The Ready Salted retail offer used here is one multipack containing six 25g bags. Buying one of that offer supplies six inner bags, not six multipacks.
How many crisp multipacks do I need for 70 sealed bags?
Using the exact six-bag retail multipack here, round 70 divided by 6 up to 12 multipacks. They supply 72 bags, two above the chosen requirement. This is bag arithmetic, not a serving recommendation.
Why does the planner supply more bags than I entered?
It rounds up to complete retail packs or cases. A 32-bag case cannot meet a 70-bag requirement with two cases, so three cases supply 96 bags and leave 26 surplus.
Does the 150g Variety weight refer to one individual bag?
No. It refers to one six-pack of six 25g bags. The specified case contains 18 of those six-packs, totalling 108 bags and 2,700g.
Does the planner tell me how many people the crisps will feed?
No. You enter a chosen number of sealed bags. The result does not estimate appetite, servings, dietary suitability or the flavour each person will choose.
Can I compare these options by price here?
The requirement planner compares whole purchase quantities, supplied bags, surplus and net contents. It does not calculate cost. Check the current prices on the exact product cards or product pages for each purchase quantity.
